Alex Johnson, former outfielder for the California Angels, signed this 8x10 photo with a blue Sharpie. Alex began his career in 1964 with the Philadelphia Phillies. He played with the Phillies 1964-65, St. Louis Cardinals 1966-67, Cincinnati Reds 1968-69, California Angels 1970-71, Cleveland Indians 1971-72, Texas Rangers 1973-74, New York Yankees 1974-75 and Detroit Tigers 1976. During his career, he played in 1322 games and banged out 1331 hits (180 doubles, 33 triples and 78 HRs) in 4623 at bats. Alex was a member of the eventual 1967 World Champion St. Louis Cardinals and was also named to the 1970 American League All-Star team. Alex originally signed this photo on Sunday May 21, 2006.
