| Great looking nine card NM-Miint Minnesota Vikings team set. Originally this was made as part of a 66-card, 7-1/2" x 9-15/16" set which indluded cards from eight teams in the league in 1970. The Chicago Bears (1-8), Cincinnati Bengals (9-14), Cleveland Browns (15-21), Detroit Lions (22-30), Green Bay Packers (31-39), Kansas City Chiefs (40-48), Minnesota Vikings (49-57) and St. Louis Cardinals (58-66). Cards with the annoying mail tabs measure 7-1/2" x 14" and the backs have mail-in offers for other merchandise while the fronts feature player drawings by artist Nicholas Volpe. This great looking Vikings team set is without the tabs and consists of the following players: Bill Brown (this card has been autographed in silver at a private signing on November 20, 2004), Fred Cox, Gary Cuozzo, Carl Eller, Jim Marshall (who should be in the Hall of Fame), Dave Osborn (this card has been autographed with a silver paint marker at a private signing on 9/8/01), Alan Page (Hall of Famer), Mick Tingelhoff (who should be in the Hall of Fame, this card has been autographed with a silver paint marker at a private signing on 4/20/02) and Gene Washington. Unique item for the ultimate Minnesota Vikings fan. These sets would look great signed with a silver paint marker (I have already done three of the cards at private signings). |
